Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS
Support and optimize Java microservices deployments across production and non-production environments
Lead incident management activities, including triage, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
Monitor system performance, reliability, and capacity; implement automation to reduce manual operations
Collaborate closely with development, QA, architecture, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience (or equivalent senior-level experience)
Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, etc.)
Expertise in Java-based microservices deployment and support
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Advanced skills in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes/EKS
Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, Bash, or similar)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, etc.)
Proven track record in incident management, troubleshooting, and production support
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
