Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a Summer Intern for their Legacy Business Unit department. The intern will focus on the standardization of the tooling room through the implementation of the 5S methodology, aiming to create an organized and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate an understanding of lean manufacturing

Achieve full 5S compliance in the tooling room, resulting in improved organization, reduced waste, and enhanced productivity

Establish clear visual management systems for tools and materials

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability among team members using the tooling room

Document and propose processes and outcomes to support future standardization initiatives

Required

Strong capability to analyze and make synthesis

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, CATIA V5, or similar)

Strong communication skills, written and oral and the ability to create and clearly present new ideas or concepts

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university seeking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or other engineering related field and must reside in the United States

Must be at least a sophomore status
