Senior Program Coordinator, Career-Engaged Learning - College of AI, Cyber and Computing

Responsibilities
Administers, coordinates and participates in assigned programs or projects, including budgeting, scheduling, marketing, training, and evaluating programs
Develops and implements standards for attaining program goals and objectives
Maintains frequent interaction with departments, special groups, and external agencies in administering programs
Plan, schedule, coordinate and assess the implementation of experiential learning programs (internships, externships, co-ops, job-shadowing, employer projects)
Build and maintain employer partnerships; collaborate with academic departments and other university offices and faculty to support students
Processing student documentation/paperwork for internship approval and related inquiries
Oversees daily activities for assigned programs and projects, including facilitating career-engaged learning events and managing program logistics, budgets, and compliance requirements
Coordinates workshops on resumes, interviewing, career planning, match students to opportunities and support throughout the experience
Facilitates the development of new partnerships for various programs
Evaluates and reports on program results
Recommends new policies and procedures for improvement of program activities
Coordinates staff training and development
Determines work priorities
Works on special projects as assigned
Participates in professional seminars and meetings
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of professional experience in program administration or coordination
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure
Preferred
Master's degree from an accredited institution
Experience in program development
