Responsibilities
Assist surgeons during operative procedures
Perform daily hospital rounds, including patient assessments and care coordination
Conduct in-office patient visits: evaluations, follow-ups, pre- and post-operative care
Complete clinical documentation and patient-requested forms (e.g., disability, leave forms)
Provide patient education, manage pre-surgical questions, and assist with prescription orders and refills
Collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and administrative personnel
Qualification
Required
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Active DEA certification
Eligibility for hospital privileges at listed facilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Interest in surgical practice with willingness to work in office/OR/hospital settings
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and collaborate with a surgical team
