They are seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst who will be responsible for organizing and utilizing data to assist in business-making decisions, focusing on financial modeling and data management.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data models in Microsoft excel and other programs to forecast future performance, assess potential risks and identify improvement opportunities
Ensure that data being presented has been triangulated with other financial data / information and reviewed prior to presenting
Work with VP, Commercial Finance through current developed models to fully understand build and functionality
Improve current models as needed/required to align with changing business requirements
Manage & maintain commercial data sets in the BI system such as global customers, global parts and others
Work with key stakeholders in finance, operations and business development as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field / equivalent experience
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel
Thorough understanding of commercial finance elements
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Supply Chain and/or Operational/Manufacturing experience and acumen a plus
