Engineer, Hardware Design Verification

They are seeking a full-time Engineer, Hardware Design Verification to validate performance and reliability of advanced embedded video systems, focusing on hardware verification and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities
Develop test strategies: Create and execute detailed verification plans aligned with product specifications
Lead bring-up efforts: Oversee prototype bring-up, electrical characterization, and system-level qualification
Debug hardware issues: Use oscilloscopes, analyzers, and layout tools to pinpoint and resolve board-level problems
Validate high-speed video: Test interfaces like 12G-SDI, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and other embedded video systems
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with design, systems, and validation teams to ensure smooth product integration
Document with precision: Generate clear verification reports, test procedures, and compliance artifacts
Mentor peers: Share best practices, guide junior engineers, and foster technical excellence
Drive continuous improvement: Champion process refinements that boost test efficiency and product quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of hands-on design verification experience focused on embedded hardware systems
Validated FPGA, MPSoC, and GPU-based platforms
Tested video interfaces like 12G-SDI, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1
Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and reading schematics
Developed test strategies: Create and execute detailed verification plans aligned with product specifications

Preferred
Experience working with FPGA, MPSoC, or GPU-based platforms
Familiarity with video interfaces such as 12G-SDI, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1
Experience developing test plans, running regression campaigns, and producing traceable documentation to support compliance, performance, and reliability objectives
Exposure to debugging across hardware and firmware boundaries in Linux-based environments
Experience working in CGP or ITAR-compliant environments
