Responsibilities

Contribute to transitioning mission data flows from legacy systems to a modernized data flow architecture

Defining technical and process improvements to achieve improved mission performance and compliance

Work as part of an Agile team and interact directly with customers to understand their needs to develop solutions and solve complex problems

Analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Build client tools from vision to production-ready system

Guide your clients through migration planning and implementation

Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies

Identify new opportunities to modernize software development practices and tools to help your customers meet their needs

Required

2+ years of experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems, including RHEL 5, RHEL 6, or CentOS 7

2+ years of experience with scripting, including Python or Java

2+ years of experience implementing socket connection and packet processing design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting

2+ years of experience with a data sample analytic database or infrastructure, including SQL, SQLite, ElasticStack, GrFana, Kibana, Kubernetes, or Docker

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in a CS or Engineering field
