Clinical Research Associate II - ARMORR

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. They are seeking a Clinical Research Associate II to support program evaluation and improvement projects that enhance Total Force Fitness across multiple Service branches.

Responsibilities

Provide support for overall execution of multiple projects, including management of day-to-day operations, developing and updating project trackers, compiling project documents, and participating in all project related meetings
Contribute to the design and execution of program evaluation and program improvement projects focused on supporting health, readiness, and human performance and enhance the quality of holistic health and fitness programs for Service Members and their families
Develop data strategies for a program evaluation project(s) liaising with project partners, support the development of survey tools, manage regulatory processes necessary for survey deployment, and oversee data collection and analysis efforts to support research and program evaluation projects
Assist in the development and dissemination of: technical reports, presentations for stakeholders, academic manuscripts, academic presentations, educational materials, products for networking, and training(s)
Translate and deliver findings to the stakeholder community in presentations and reports
Collaborate on research proposals by providing subject matter expertise, to include: strategic planning, literature reviews, networking with potential collaborators and funders, and identifying future research areas of interest
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for the role

Required

Master's Degree required: Psychology, Social Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field required
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience required
Deep understanding of program evaluation
Excellent translational and presentation skills
Strong understanding of project management
Strong mastery of quantitative methods, specifically with respect to psychometrics
Proactive and detail oriented
Ability to understand and utilize scientific/medical terminology and research theory in both oral and written communications
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders
Working understanding of data management processes
Ability to use measurable and verifiable information for making decisions or judgments
Excellent organizational and management skills
Familiar with Institutional Review Board activities
Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Public Trust investigation
Lifting: Requires lifting materials up to 25 lbs
Ability to stand or sit at a computer for prolonged periods

Preferred

Preference for candidates located within the National Capital Region; hybrid or remote candidates will be considered
