Oldcastle Building Envelope is a leader in providing architectural glass and building products. The Driver Class B role involves safely operating a Class B vehicle to deliver glass and metal products while supporting business needs and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Support general plant operations, shipping, etc. and maintenance tasks during non-driving periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork

Safely handle, load, secure, and unload glass and/or metal products, make multiple deliveries, and provide excellent customer service throughout each route

Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational efficiency

Maintain accurate truck and driving records, including driver logs and performance forms, while complying with all company policies and local/state driving regulations

Consistently demonstrate regular and reliable attendance, the ability to safely perform all job functions, and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures

Flexibility with routes

Ability to obtain a medical examiner's certificate of physical qualification

Valid Class B license with an acceptable motor vehicle record

Adaptable to changing work demands such as possible overnights and flexibility in job duties when not engaged in route deliveries

Ability to read and interpret mathematical measurement of glass sizes and properly read and use a tape measure

Preferred

Preferred at least three (3) years of verifiable, driving experience (we will train the right candidate through our comprehensive driver's training program)
