Latitude Legal is a flexible legal talent company seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their litigation practice group on a part-time engagement basis. The role involves handling complex litigation matters, building client relationships, and collaborating with a team experienced in state and federal court litigation.

Assisting with procedural and strategic steps necessary to advance two cases pending in U.S. District Court (SDNY)

Required

5+ years of experience practicing commercial litigation in a full-service or boutique litigation law firm (AmLaw 200 experience highly preferred)
Preference given for experience litigating in the United States District Court (SDNY)
Experience drafting and responding to written discovery
Ability to independently conduct witness interviews
Skilled at drafting motions and other pleadings with minimal supervision
Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Licensed and in good standing in state of residence
Outstanding professional references

Preferred

Prior experience in the litigation practice group of a large law firm
Prior experience in a highly regarded litigation law boutique
Prior experience in a major corporate legal department
