Responsibilities

Manage datasets exported from the data warehouse, including development of automation routines
Monitor and manage end-to-end data load processes into Jupiter to ensure timeliness and accuracy
Develop and maintain data migration workflows and data quality validation processes
Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues related to data integrity, access, or delivery
Design, develop, test, and maintain application interface programs (APIs)
Ensure APIs meet performance, security, and compliance requirements for both NIPR and SIPR networks
Obtain and manage administrative access to the Jupiter environment
Develop and maintain the Maintenance Jupiter environment and Maritime Jupiter cluster
Manage enterprise databases within Jupiter environments
Develop and manage data transmissions to Jupiter using approved transfer protocols

Required

U.S. Citizenship Required
Secret Clearance
3–7+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or API development
Experience with data warehouse environments, ETL/ELT processes, and structured/unstructured data management
Proficiency with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go, or similar)
Experience building and managing APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud architectures, clustered environments, or containerized services
Experience working with secure networks, role-based access, and cybersecurity compliance (e.g., DoD RMF)
Ability to troubleshoot complex data flows and system integrations
If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with Navy/DoD systems
Experience with Azure
Experience with Jupiter or similar data platforms
Experience with SIPR/NIPR cross-domain data transfer processes such as Bi-Frost or CDS technologies
Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other enterprise database platforms
Knowledge of data governance and metadata management practices
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification
