Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of major IT systems or business process initiatives that impact long-term operations

Oversee a mix of high-priority, multi-phased projects that span various technologies and involve diverse business teams

Provide leadership to project teams by fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and accountability, ensuring that goals, responsibilities, and milestones are met

Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology, operations, and business needs

Proactively manage risks, conflicts, and dependencies to keep projects on track, resolving issues and ensuring timely delivery of critical path milestones

Prepare and present project status reports, focusing on milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues tailored to the needs of your audience

Lead requirement elaboration sessions and facilitate discussions to translate business needs into detailed system requirements when necessary

Ensure all projects comply with organizational policies, processes, and legal guidelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field

PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) required

Preferred

8+ years of project management experience, specifically managing complex, multi-phased projects

Proven expertise in PMO governance, product roadmap processes, and LEAN methodologies

Strong experience managing waterfall projects using a formal project framework

Hands-on experience managing change requests through formal project change management processes

Working knowledge of IT change management processes

Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate and resolve complex challenges

Proficiency with project portfolio management tools such as: CA Clarity PPM, KeyedIn, JIRA

Experience using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint

Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to present to project sponsors and interact with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels of management

Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve business problems effectively
