ESG & Environmental Data Analyst

Responsibilities
Provide data analysis for the organization’s ESG metrics tracking and reporting requirements, including leading and lagging safety indicators, environmental indicators, climate risk reporting (e.g, CA SB 261), and other federal, state, and Canadian Provincial reporting obligations
Support internal initiatives to deploy and sustain ESG data collection, compilation, and reporting, including reports for senior leadership and at board level
Analyze relevant EHS and ESG data and prepare reports for senior leadership communicating results, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Support chemical management reporting and disclosure into various federal, provincial, and state agencies, including PFAS and Plastics Registry reporting to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), chemical disclosures under USEPA TSCA, and state-level PFAS reporting (e.g., Maine, Minnesota, Colorado)
Collaborate with internal functional leaders, external consultants, and other key stakeholders and coach internal teams to use SMS, ECMS, and related technology platforms effectively
Support supply chain chemical constituent management services to ensure compliance (e.g., 3E Solutions, Gensuite / Benchmark, Enhesa / Sphera)
Implement safety data sheet (SDS) cloud-based services (SaaS) for the enterprise, to support product stewardship, occupational health and other stakeholder needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, chemistry, environmental sciences, or related disciplines
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau; database management with SQL, data lakes, and ETL processes is a plus
Advanced Excel capabilities for data manipulation and analytics; and the ability to automate ESG reporting workflows
Experience in environmental, safety, ESG, and sustainability issues
Knowledge of safety management systems (SMS), environmental compliance management systems (ECMS), and ESG reporting platforms (e.g., state climate risk reporting, EcoVadis, CDP, etc.)
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams, external vendors, and partners
