Learning and Development Training Intern

Responsibilities

Design a complete 8-day new-hire training program that equips incoming staff with the foundational knowledge, skills, and resources needed to confidently perform in their roles. This includes analyzing current workflows, creating a structured curriculum, and developing facilitator guides, learner materials, job aids, and assessments
The intern will assist in the creation of a comprehensive consumer lending training program that strengthens staff expertise in lending fundamentals
Conduct learner and subject matter expert interviews to identify training gaps and workflow challenges across branches and lending operations
Design and develop high-impact training materials—including facilitator guides, learner workbooks, job aids, and assessments
Pilot training modules with trainers and collect feedback to refine content, ensuring the programs are accurate, accessible, and aligned with Self-Help’s mission
