Responsibilities
Partner with Payload and Silicon Development leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with program objectives
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis and business insights
Drive cross-functional collaboration with various teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
Lead annual operating plan and monthly forecast processes for the organization
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business cases and strategic initiatives
Create and analyze various scenarios to optimize resource allocation and investment decisions
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Establish and maintain financial controls and processes for engineering development programs
Support engineering change control process with financial impact analysis
Create and deliver executive-level presentations and financial updates
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to drive business decisions
Develop and automate reporting tools to improve efficiency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
