Responsibilities

Requires drilling holes, and prep materials according to work orders, fabrication sheets, and schedules

Completing daily work orders, parts inspection, calculations, and measurement of parts sizes, placement, and work inspection

Ensure parts are fabricated according to prints, worksheets, and or shop drawings

Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies

Resolves fabrication problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualification

Required

Able to take measurements by using a standard measuring tape

Able to read and understand work instructions

Able to use tools such as air power tools, hand tools, drills, small hammers, adhesives, and solvents

Ability to read, interpret and understand fabrication blueprint drawings

Preferred

Basic understanding of the English language preferred
