Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Oldcastle Building Envelope is a leader in providing architectural glass and building products for various projects. The 2nd shift Maintenance Technician will focus on repairing components and ensuring continuous production processes while working closely with the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure continuous production processes

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions

Repair and replace faulty components and equipment

Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed

Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment according to established schedules

Electrical and mechanical plant maintenance including the repair and installation of machinery and equipment as assigned and directed by supervisor

Troubleshoot to determine appropriate repairs including the replacement of defective parts

Assemble, install, test, and inspect machines and equipment as needed

Assist with the completion of all required preventative and routine maintenance of equipment and machinery

Assist in upgrading equipment including fabrication of parts
