Responsibilities

Ensures all assigned facility equipment and areas are operating and maintained in a safe and proper working condition

Operates and provides maintenance services on infrastructure equipment and systems in Stationary Engineering

Monitors multiple systems for operating and alarm conditions and resolves and communicates issues as required

Required

High school graduate or equivalent (GED)

Completion of a technical degree or certificate program associated with stationary engineering

Three years' experience with high pressure steam boilers, emergency power generators, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, compressors

Computer literate with Windows software and building management software experience

Must be able to formulate and implement cost effective solutions to various problems in facility and utility maintenance

Must have good judgment and integrity

Must demonstrate interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Must be able to work as a team member and also have the ability to work independently

First Class 'B' boiler license required - NMHC Standard
