Responsibilities

Support the installation of fire sprinkler systems on various construction sites, including new builds, retrofits, and tenant improvements
Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to Cal/OSHA standards
Apply company and industry-standard methods for pipe fabrication, layout, and system assembly
Attend required safety, training, and educational meetings to improve trade knowledge and address job site safety concerns
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all tasks, upholding company values and contributing to a positive team environment

Required

1-2 years of fire sprinkler service experience
Working knowledge of NFPA 13 standards for fire sprinkler system design and installation
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver's license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and fire codes
Basic understanding of measurements and ability to perform accurate calculations
Familiarity with operating hand and power tools such as saws, drills, pipe threaders, wrenches, and lifts
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Capable of solving practical problems and adapting to changing job site conditions
Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Ability to maintain accurate written and electronic documentation (e.g., timesheets, work tickets, inspection reports)
Must adhere to all safety practices and Cal/OSHA regulations

OSHA 10 or 30 certified preferred
