Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of projects for various clients across the region
Overseeing project budgets and delivery schedules
Leading project teams to ensure all deliverables are met
Providing technical leadership throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater, distribution and collection systems, lift stations and pumping stations
Preparing construction documents
Developing specifications
Managing construction oversight and administration
Supporting positioning and capture strategies
Contributing to proposal and presentation efforts for Water/Wastewater Conveyance Design projects
Collaborating with Area Leaders and client Account Leaders to define project scopes and fee estimates
Managing risks
Identifying project staff
Ensuring projects are set up for successful and profitable delivery
Coordinating with Arcadis’ industry-leading technical advisors in water and wastewater hydraulic modeling and facility design
Contributing to strategic planning with clients for water/wastewater treatment plants, stormwater systems, distribution and collection systems, and pump/lift stations
Mentoring junior engineers and technical staff
Supporting the work of others
Ensuring compliance with all Arcadis practices, quality, and safety standards
Local travel of up to 10% is required for project site visits, client meetings, and business development activities
Qualification
Required
12 or more years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
PE License in Texas (or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months)
Preferred
20+ years of related industry experience
Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
