Responsibilities
Perform thorough financial analysis and modeling on potential acquisitions to assess revenue strength, profitability, and long-term growth prospects
Gather and interpret financial information from target companies, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Partner closely with operating companies to lead financial analysis for both buy side and sell side activity
Prepare organized materials and data packs to support Quality of Earnings reviews
Build and maintain valuation models that include EBITDA adjustments and expected synergies to guide valuation and deal decisions with clear logic
Support due diligence with clear explanations of trends, risks, and underlying drivers
Develop dashboards and standardized templates to evaluate deal economics and track performance after the close
Review key operating drivers within target companies and highlight the factors that truly move value
Track deal metrics and maintain neat and complete documentation post completion
Assist with integration planning to support a smooth transition once company has been acquired, identify performance gaps, and recommend improvements that keep things achieving expected results

Qualification
Required
10+ year of progressive financial experience, including a focus on M&A analytics and Quality of Earnings preparation/review
Strong finance modeling skills, along with an understanding of finance reporting and cash forecasting
A decisive individual who possesses a 'big picture' perspective and is proficient in systems
Knowledgeable in US GAAP and ERP systems in general
Possesses a strategic approach with strong technical skills, excellent analytical abilities, sound judgment and strong operational focus
Hard worker with results orientation and sense of urgency
Able to work as a hands-on manager and meets set deadlines
Extremely strong business sense and orientation
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or other related field
Preferred
Experience with accounting or financial diligence services professional firm preferred
Prior M&A integration experience preferred
Experience leading through business systems framework preferred
Experience working across multiple businesses, rolling them up and building insights
Preferably has MBA or Master degree in Economics/Finance
