International Tax Manager
Grant Thornton is a national business line firm specializing in professional services. The International Tax Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering U.S. international tax services for clients, collaborating with teams globally to solve complex business problems and ensure quality in service delivery.

Responsibilities
Managing and monitoring multiple client services teams on client engagements; planning, executing, directing, and completing international tax projects; providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; and managing engagements to budget
Managing the delivery of a full range of international tax services and advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to assist in developing an efficient worldwide tax strategy
Consulting with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, effective use of tax treaties, planning related to offshore investment activities and repatriation strategies to minimize U.S. and foreign income taxes
Conducting primary and secondary review of complicated or complex international tax returns to ensure quality
Working closely with partners, managers, and associates to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum five to seven years of progressive tax consulting experience, preferably with at least three years focused on international taxation
Experience with a large accounting firm, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company
CPA or JD/active law license required
Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in U.S. tax compliance and consulting
Strong computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can travel as needed
