Responsibilities
Accounting: Processing and supervision of all accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
Analysis: Development of a variety of financial and accounting reports, including spending and costing analysis
Treasury Management: Continuous cash flow planning and reporting thereof
Budgeting and Forecasts: Preparation of annual budget and related forecasts
Auditing and Internal Controls: Maintenance of effective internal controls within established guidelines; auditing of accounting records periodically
Assist with external tax compliance and planning
Recruit and develop accounting and finance team as transaction/activity levels require
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Experience managing month-end close
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Must be able to ensure accurate and timely results and work independently
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and professionally
QuickBooks and strong Excel and system skills
Preferred
CPA certification
CPA license
Experience in manufacturing environments
