Lead independent, high-impact projects on ion channel and lipid transporter biology; design and execute experiments; analyze and publish data; present at conferences; and mentor junior trainees
Fellows are encouraged to apply for fellowships and develop their own research directions
Qualification
Required
PhD in biophysics, cell biology, structural biology, physiology, neuroscience, or related fields
Strong experimental, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred
Patch-clamp electrophysiology
quantitative imaging
protein engineering
structural methods (cryo-EM, X-ray, MD modeling)
lipid biochemistry
disease models (rodents or organoid/organ-on-chip)
