Senior Engineer - Production Engineering

Responsibilities
Lead project activity, including management of internal and external resources
Develop and review criteria (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical) for design of buildings
Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing Centers (plants) in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards
Act as Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems (HVAC, air compressor, boilers, chillers, etc.) as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management
Utilize experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs
Provide Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs
Prepare and report out detailed project status reports
Participate, conduct and lead engineering studies and technical problem solving
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
Experience in building design and construction, including industrial buildings and building related systems
3 years of experience as Project Lead for Model Change, Equipment Installation, or Building Construction
Proven experience in managing and tracking budgets to ensure financial accuracy and cost control
Experience with one or more of the following: Industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.), Industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher), Controls such as PLC, networking systems, Building Management Systems and/or Variable Frequency Drive, General construction (concrete, steel, civil)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project
Experience with Project Management software such as MS Project, AutoDesk Build, AutoCAD, Primavera, ProCore or similar
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% during peak times and/or weekends dependent on project need
Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial Engineering
5 years of project management experience for industrial construction projects
Experience in industrial structural steel systems
Experience in large scale civil installations
Professional Engineering (PE) License
