Outside Sales Representative, Northeast
Tank Stream Design is a company that designs and develops unique lifestyle apparel and accessories for quality retailers worldwide. They are seeking a highly skilled Outside Sales Representative to support current and develop new business in the Northeast, focusing on the coastal market and driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets for the assigned territory
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territories. Actively seek out new clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships to drive revenue and profitability in the region
Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our products and services
Continuous product planning and frequent replenishment orders with active customers throughout the year
Track and report on sales activities, progress, and potential leads in the company CRM daily. Provide regular updates to management on your sales pipeline
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
Maintain consistent brand representation across all retail environments
Provide ongoing physical support to accounts throughout the year, evaluating visual merchandising and upholding strong relationships with on-floor staff
Lead all stakeholders in the project management of staged renovations for retail store partners and shop-in-shop concept stores
Travel frequently within assigned territories to meet clients and attend relevant events
Must be able to travel extensively within the assigned territory up to 5 days per week by car & air travel when required
Must be able to take recurring overnight trips within the territory when required for travel efficiency
Qualification
Required
Residence in the Greater Philadelphia area
Ability and passion to travel extensively throughout the assigned sales territory visiting our customers in-person at least one time per month
Must have a reliable vehicle for daily customer visits
3+ years of related direct outside sales, business development and merchandising experience
Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving sales targets
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities with demonstrable executive presence
Strong business analytical skills
Excellent sales and negotiation abilities
Solid understanding of territory sales planning
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Must have a valid US Driver's License with a clear driving record, free from any major violations
Exceptional customer service and networking skills, capable of building relationships with key retailers and external partners
Ability to thrive in competitive and dynamic environments
Preferred
Familiarity with the Coastal Resort landscape in Northeast
Experience with selling in the Caribbean
