Fuser is a creative technology company building an AI-native creative platform for professionals. As a DevOps contractor, you will work with the CTO and engineering team to develop automated infrastructure that enhances developer experience and system reliability.

Responsibilities

Improve developer environments and workflows to reduce friction and environment-specific bugs
Build automation and tooling that enables faster, safer deployments and testing
Design infrastructure strategies that support our growing engineering team
Implement security best practices and operational standards across our stack
Ensure all infrastructure is maintainable, auditable, and follows IaC principles

Required

Deep Cloudflare expertise — Workers, Durable Objects, R2, Containers, and the broader CF ecosystem
Infrastructure-as-code mindset — Everything should be versioned, reproducible, and maintainable
Experience with modern deployment tooling — GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, preview environments
Database operations knowledge — Branching strategies, migrations, backups, and replication
Security-first approach — Secrets management, environment isolation, access controls
Strong communication skills — You'll be working with a small, fast-moving engineering team

Preferred

Experience with tRPC, Hono, or similar TypeScript-first frameworks
Background in developer tooling or platform engineering
Familiarity with real-time multiplayer infrastructure
Open-source contributions
Experience supporting creative or AI-native product companies
