Applies working knowledge of machine shop and injection molding techniques to build and develop prototype tooling
Support projects for multiple departments in the R&D function
Provide effective and timely job scheduling information to extended team members within the R&D function. Identify and inform project teams of short- and long-term resource constraints
Creative Problem Solver – identify technical solutions for rapid prototyping and product development challenges
Provide effective technical input that makes design concepts more manufacturable
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Machine Shop preferred
2+ years of related professional work experience preferred
Experience designing/fabricating plastic injection mold tooling
Good verbal and written communication skills
Developed problem solving, decision making, and communication skills with potential for leadership
SolidWorks or other CAD experience desired
