Responsibilities
Trusted advisor to stakeholders Build consultative relationships with stakeholders to uncover learning needs, align to business objectives, and recommend the right solutions. Advise on modalities, technologies, and approaches that best accelerate performance and deliver measurable value
Solution orchestration Translate stakeholder requirements into clear design strategies for execution by learning experience designers and cross-functional partners. Coordinate with SMEs, brand, governance, and LMS teams to ensure learning solutions are timely, relevant, and consistently deployed
Speed to value Prioritize solutions that can be rapidly developed, tested, and scaled to meet urgent business needs. Streamline and actively participate in design and deployment processes where necessary by leveraging templates, reusable assets, and modern learning platforms
Innovation and modernization Guide the integration of AI-enabled learning experiences (e.g., GPT practice environments, adaptive pathways, chatbots) into solutions created with designers. Encourage experimentation with new modalities while maintaining business relevance and scalability
Standards and quality Ensure learning assets and experiences align with Vizient’s brand, accessibility (WCAG), and enterprise taxonomy/metadata standards. Promote reusability and consistency of learning across business areas
Continuous improvement Monitor learner feedback, adoption metrics, and performance outcomes to evaluate solution effectiveness. Recommend enhancements that increase engagement, reduce time to proficiency, and improve business outcomes
Learning design and development Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, blended learning assets (e.g., toolkits, videos, eLearning, simulations, GPT-enabled practice, adaptive pathways). Apply instructional design principles, storytelling, accessibility, and UX principles to ensure engaging and inclusive learner experiences
Qualification
Required
7 or more years of relevant experience in learning strategy, instructional design principles, or related field is required
Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills with SMEs, designers, and cross-functional partners to deliver rapid, high-value solutions
Working knowledge of blended learning modalities, accessibility standards, and content authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, Camtasia)
Familiarity with AI-enabled learning approaches (e.g., GPT, adaptive learning, chatbots)
Ability to balance strategic advising with speed to value in execution
