They are seeking an Immigration Paralegal to provide general immigration and corporate support to attorneys and to interact with clients while handling a variety of immigration-related petitions and applications.

Responsibilities

Provide general immigration and corporate support to attorneys across multiple office locations

Interact with external clients as well as internal support staff

Preparation and filing of a wide variety of non-immigrant and immigrant employment petitions

Preparation and filing of family petitions

Preparation and filing of visa applications

Preparation and filing of PERM labor certification applications

Preparation and filing of applications for adjustment of status

Preparation and filing of applications for U.S. citizenship

Required

Minimum three years of business immigration experience and a bachelor's degree, or the combined equivalent of education and experience

Proficient in preparing and handling a variety of employment-based non-immigrant petitions and immigrant petitions, PERM labor certifications, visa applications, and applications for adjustment of status

Extensive knowledge of immigration-based forms and documents

Competent in using document management systems

Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat

Experience using a legal time and billing system

Excellent communication and time management skills

Motivated, self-directed individual with ability to anticipate and resolve issues

Ability to prioritize work projects and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

Must be a team player, willing to help other team members during peak times
