Responsibilities

Evaluate and select electronic components based on system requirements

Develop and review board schematics

Review and optimize board layouts for signal and power integrity

Perform bring-up of new board designs

Develop hardware test plans and automation scripts for engineering and manufacturing tests

Participate in the process of taking eero’s hardware from the prototype stage to mass production

Provide engineering support to manufacturing during the NPI process

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent

Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout

Experience testing hardware/mechanical sub-components, research and data analysis skills, and/or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout best practices

Experience in hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools

7+ years of experience in board-level design, component selection, board bring-up, and prototyping

Knowledge of best practices for the design of high-speed boards and embedded systems
