Responsibilities
Prepare and file state and local tax returns and maintain compliance calendars
Monitor tax rate changes and review invoices for proper tax treatment
Respond to vendor requests for exemption certificates
Compile documentation and participate in audits
Assist with tax budgets, variance analysis, and reserve reconciliations
Recommend process improvements and support ad hoc tax projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills
Ability to work on-site at our Reston, VA corporate office
Drug Testing and Credit Check are required
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States, as NVR does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred
2+ years of tax compliance or related accounting experience preferred
