Responsibilities
Performs detailed design and modeling of environmental test chambers using Autodesk Inventor, including creation of fabrication drawings and assembly layouts
Ensures designs meet industry standards and reviews engineering documents for accuracy and completeness
Collaborates with other departments, including Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality, to align design with operational needs
Participates in project planning and design reviews
Leads root cause analysis for design or production issues
Identifies and implements design improvements for performance, cost reduction, and reliability
Maintains and updates internal design standards and engineering practices
Develops tools and processes to improve team
Qualification
Required
Experience in managing and guiding an engineering team (2-4 employees)
Proficiency in detailed design and modeling of environmental test chambers using Autodesk Inventor
Ability to create fabrication drawings and assembly layouts
Knowledge of industry standards and ability to review engineering documents for accuracy and completeness
Experience collaborating with other departments, including Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality
Participation in project planning and design reviews
Experience leading root cause analysis for design or production issues
Ability to identify and implement design improvements for performance, cost reduction, and reliability
Experience maintaining and updating internal design standards and engineering practices
Ability to develop tools and processes to improve team performance
