As a Junior Database Developer, you will work closely with senior database developers and data analysts to write and maintain stored procedures, manage client data feeds, and optimize performance across the data stack.

Responsibilities

Manage ongoing processing of client data feeds into their respective managed data environments
Develop stored procedures that conform to specific outputs and performance requirements to support real time delivery of data for report, analytical, and operational needs
Be responsible for performance optimization and troubleshooting across the entire Element data stack
Participate in code review and standards development
Become a subject matter expert on client databases and business rules that relate the to the processing of inbound data feeds and outbound reports and data feeds
Success is defined by displayed knowledge of database development, effectiveness and efficiency of highly performant, efficient, and clean TSQL stored procedures., adherence to timelines, sound execution of product, adherence to team best practices, documentation thoroughness, and an ability and eagerness to learn on the job
Support our Operational team with day-to-day tasks

Qualification

Microsoft TSQLETL pipelineStored proceduresPythonRProblem solvingVerbal communicationWritten communicationDetail-oriented

Required

1-3 years of extensive Microsoft TSQL development experience or have recently completed a relevant course of study
Demonstrate knowledge of the technical features of Microsoft TSQL
Detail-oriented
Enjoyment for critical problem solving
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Experience with languages like Python, R
