Professional Engineer - Investigative
Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a mid-level structural engineer to join their Investigative Engineering Group in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on providing engineering services for renovation, restoration, retrofit, and repair projects for existing structures, requiring strong knowledge of building codes and the ability to manage field investigations and develop engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform investigations with in-house staff and clients
Engage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle
Manage and collaborate with engineering and technician staff to produce high-quality project documentation using computer design and graphics software programs
Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets
Build lasting relationships with clients through project work and business development activities
Develop design recommendations for projects
Assemble construction drawings, write and edit specifications, and follow project specific QA/QC plans
Qualification
Required
Registered Professional Engineer
Completed 4 years progressive engineering experience
Exhibits effective communication and technical skills
Preferred
Completed 6-8 years progressive engineering experience
Followed multiple engineering projects from start of design to completion of construction
Demonstrates a strong desire for continued professional development
Participating member of professional and/or technical societies
