Responsibilities

Create precise 3D models and detailed drawings for stamping dies using CAD software
Develop schedules for tooling and implement improvements to enhance performance, longevity, and reliability
Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and equipment layouts for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Evaluate product designs for technical and economic feasibility within stamping processes, providing guidance to product design teams
Diagnose and resolve issues with existing dies and stamping processes to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
Inspect and test tools, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure compliance with quality standards
Work closely with product designers, manufacturing engineers, and production staff to ensure designs are feasible and production runs smoothly
Support new product development by providing die design, process development, and documentation for successful mass production

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
