Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable services that are consumed as a API
Plug into an event-based architecture built on SNS and SQS
Develop transactional services with multiple databases (Document, Graph, Key Value)
Integrate 3rd party APIs, libraries, frameworks, and cloud platform tools in the AWS ecosystem
Support sprint planning, daily cadence, release management, and retrospectives as member of a self-organizing team

Required

Significant Knowledge and Experience of Java, with a particular focus on back-end
Working knowledge of architectural paradigms like REST, serverless, event-driven systems and microservices
Working and current knowledge of Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Security, Test)
Experience with cloud native application development
Experience with NOSQL databases, Neo4J, Cassandra, etc
Experience or knowledge of containers Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with AWS ecosystem
Ability to work with a distributed team in the same time zone
