Responsibilities

Provide authoritative guidance to the A&A Department on all operational facets of Cyber Security and Risk Management Framework (RMF) programs
Review authorization and assurance documents to confirm risk level is within acceptable limits for each software application, system and network
Oversee the management, supervision, planning, and development of subordinates for full utilization of skills to meet the department IS objectives
Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures to ensure Information Systems reliability and accessibility

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
Selective Service: Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
A one-year supervisory probationary period may be required
Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation
Required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top-Secret/SCI security clearance
This position requires occasional travel away from the normal duty station on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
All Federal employees are required to have Federal salary payments made by direct deposit
Your resume must have IT-related experience in the federal service or private sector demonstrating the following four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
Specialized experience must include: 1) Apply advanced knowledge of Information Systems (IS) and Operational Technology (OT) security principles and concepts; 2) Conduct risk assessments; 3) Exercise independent judgment and discretion on national security systems; 4) Utilize delegation authority to assign work; 5) Collaborate with external/internal customers

Benefits

Student Loan - Selectee(s) for this position who are newly appointed to a permanent or term position may be eligible for student loan repayment up to $10,000 (pre-tax) for one calendar year. More than one loan may be repaid if the combined repayments do not exceed $10,000. Receipt of this incentive will require a three-year service agreement.
Recruitment Incentive - Selectee(s) for this position who are newly appointed to a permanent position are authorized to receive a one-time recruitment incentive of 10% of the salary, including locality for this position. Receipt of the bonus will require a 12-month service agreement.
Relocation Incentive - Selectee(s) for this position who are current federal employees on permanent appointments and will be moving outside of the current commuting area of their current position to accept this position are authorized to receive a one-time relocation incentive of 10% of the salary including locality for this position. Receipt of the bonus will require a 12-month service agreement.
