Manager Audio Visual Technology (Full Time/Day Shift)

The Manager, Audio Visual Technology is responsible for overseeing audio visual technology throughout the Health System, managing conference center operations, and ensuring effective communication and training for staff and users.

Responsibilities
Responsible for all standards based video conferencing systems, including, scheduling, validation, system support and call bridging
Responsible for lecture video recording and live video streaming for executive communication, general staff education, and CME (Continuing Medical Information)
Responsible for digital signage including life cycle management of displays and player PC’s, content distribution, scheduling and expiration
Coordinates advanced bookings of the dining rooms and conference center
Manages conference room audio visual systems and provides end user training on all systems
Communicating daily with the team, planning work schedules and checking client requirements
Provides evaluation and recommendation for work/projects that include conference room audio visual technology
Managing budgets and financial plans
Establishes and maintains a strong working relationship with customers and IS division team members
Performs essential duties listed in the job description of coordinator of scheduling services. Manages all functions of the conference center
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years Two (2) years management or supervisory experience
Firm understanding of standards based video conferencing endpoints and MCU's (Polycom and/or Cisco)
Firm understanding of digital video recording and streaming
Basic understanding of computer networking, operating systems, and databases
Significant diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
Familiarity with audio visual control systems (AMX and/or Crestron)
Ability to adapt well to rapid change, uncertainty, and multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
4+ years Four years experience with the setup, operation and troubleshooting of conference rooms, auditoriums, theatre and/or hotels
Familiarity with DSP technology (BiAmp/ClearOne)
1+ years One (1) to two (2) years computer experience
Infocomm CTS certification preferred
