The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and polishing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency while maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
Review and edit written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors
Ensure consistency in tone, style, and format across all content
Verify facts, statistics, and references to maintain content credibility
Reorganize and restructure content for readability and coherence
Provide constructive feedback to writers to enhance overall content quality
Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and meets audience expectations
Ensure all content complies with copyright and plagiarism policies
Adhere to media law and ethical standards when editing sensitive materials
Work closely with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive content production
Assist in brainstorming and refining content ideas to meet strategic goals
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Track edits and changes to ensure transparency and accountability
Perform final checks on all content before publication
Maintain records of edited content and ensure a streamlined workflow
Qualification
Required
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a content editor, proofreader, or similar role
Proven track record of editing and proofreading across various formats (e.g., articles, reports, blogs, marketing materials)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must have a reliable laptop and a strong internet connection
Ability to work remotely and maintain consistent communication with the team
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Language, or related field
Proven experience in editing, preferably within a media or publishing environment
Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent research and communication skills
