Responsibilities

Daily position monitoring, analysis and balancing within a given market

Build and maintain relationships with key internal customers

Lead resolutions with supporting back office functions

Identify commercial opportunities across the value chain including storage, gathering and long haul transportation agreements

Developing complex global and regional balances to enhance opportunity identification across all markets, to inform trading opportunities

Developing and maintaining live dashboards, to provide technical and fundamental analysis, in order to identify market opportunities

Evaluating routine trading economics

Preparing economics and relevant documentation for term contracts and complex tenders including acting as the primary interface with our risk control, operations, optimization, schedulers and other supporting teams

Assisting with special projects, testing and roll-outs (as required)

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our trade execution process

Monitor quality across various parts of the gathering, storage and transportation assets

Provide support / coverage, as required, to supply chain schedulers

Providing coverage for the desk trader, subject to experience, demonstrated capability and ongoing professional development

Required

Hold a Bachelor's degree in any numerate subject including Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Finance based qualification

Prior experience within in physical or financial commodity trading or associated support functions including risk management, market analytics or supply chain scheduling

Be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial mind-set and analytical/IT skills

Possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a multi-cultural team environment

Have fluent English language skills (written and spoken), with additional language skills being an advantage
