Responsibilities
Produce accurate 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for:
Water treatment plants
Sewerage systems
Pumping stations
Electrical switchboards & MCCs
Pipelines and mechanical components
Interpret and convert single-line diagrams, markups, and pro forma examples into detailed drawings
Apply correct GC21 contract format, title blocks, layers, and XREF standards
Ensure drawings comply with Australian construction standards (NSW-focused, but adaptable to other states)
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
Experience in commercial construction drawings, especially multi-trade layouts (electrical, civil, mechanical)
Understanding of Australian standards, GC21 contract formatting, title blocks, and XREF management
Ability to interpret engineering markups and convert them into final drawing packages
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on project-based workloads
Able to estimate project hours based on provided plans/drawings
