They are seeking a Scale Operator to manage truck weighing and ticketing, assist with customer service, and maintain daily records at their Bains Creek Quarry in Groesbeck, Texas.

Responsibilities

Weighing/ticketing trucks in a timely manner

Assist with daily cash sales and prepare overnight packages to other Knife River locations

Communicate with dispatch, truck drivers and management about plant and traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards

Prepare for next day’s work orders and run daily billing reports

Record and maintain records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information

Relay sales orders, messages, and information to or from sales team and other departments

Assist with cleaning scale house including the restrooms

Answer phones and work on two-way radio system

Performs other duties as assigned
