The Consumer Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all regulatory and policy requirements for loan packages are met, coordinating with various parties to complete the loan process.

Responsibilities

Review Pre-Closing loan packages for all regulatory and policy requirements

Requesting hazard and/or flood insurance and order Preliminary Title Opinion from the attorney

Ensure that HMDA information is correct

Assist the attorney to ensure that Closing Disclosure is correct

Communicate with Loan Officers/Assistants requesting missing information or documentation to ensure that all information necessary for document processing has been obtained

Review applications accurately and consistently in a timely manner and request additional work from supervisor, as time allows

Attend training seminars and continuing education programs to maintain knowledge of regulatory policy requirements

Assist with special projects as needed

Serve as back up for Quality Assurance Specialist Lead

Perform all other duties as assigned

Participate in the Bank’s High-Rewards Connections program

Make referrals to Mortgage Center and Wealth Management
