InternWebasto Americas is a leading automotive supplier focused on making mobility enjoyable and sustainable. They are seeking a Supply Chain Management Intern to apply lean manufacturing techniques and support various supply chain functions.

Responsibilities
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve material movements from supplier, intracompany, and to the customer
Plan and execute SCM Material Handler time studies, line balancing, and process improvements
Develop plan for PFEP (Place For Every Part), determine minimum and maximum quantities on production lines, and improve materials visualization
Provide weekly summary reports detailing daily tasks
Administrative support for the Supply Chain team
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in your studies in either SCM Management or related to that field
Eager to learn and positive attitude towards work
Flexibility and capability to work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to utilize SAP, MS Excel and Word to document experiment results and organize/analyze data
Strong verbal/written communications skills and the ability to work with a team as well as communicate towards customer if required
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique
Preferred
Warehouse experience with warehouse management software experience preferred
Knowledge of shipping/receiving/accounting procedures preferred
