Responsibilities

Responsible for both administrative and peer professional staff; supervises their hiring, informs/conducts performance evaluations, assigns training activities, recommends for promotions, evaluates for discipline and terminations
Under the guidance of the Director of Recovery Services, s/he plans, directs, and coordinates all training, professional development, and vocational/educational services for patients
Under the guidance of the Director of Recovery Services, evaluates program effectiveness, makes revisions to the program design and/or policies and procedures, as needed
Provides guidance and support to the Recovery Care Manager to ensure an adequate recovery care environment exists
Facilitates independently or in coordination with other leadership, regular staff meetings to coordinate activities in accordance with the Center’s goals
Evaluates and monitors program activities (e.g. counseling, peer encounter groups, seminars and workshops, work assignments)
Liaise with the senior administrative and other staffs in the region
Ensures that all personnel policies, procedures and clinical regulatory requirements are adhered to by staff
Responsible for coordinating on administrative functions and reporting, including preparing annual budgets, controlling monthly expenses, scheduling staff and issuing required monthly reports
Responsible for developing relationships with appropriate community agencies, coalitions, partnerships, and service providers, etc
Collaborates with the Director of Recovery Services for developing and maintaining relationships with appropriate government agencies, including representing the agency on meetings with such
Engages with program participants to provide recovery coaching services and advocate for the needs of participants and the recovery community

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Art, Music, Movement or related field
Certified Recovery Coach

Preferred

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health or related field
2 years of experience providing or coordinating service delivery, mentoring/coaching/leading staff and/or volunteers
Familiarity with regulations governing substance use disorder recovery support services
