Responsibilities

Support efforts for BRT projects, including roadway design, drainage design, maintenance of traffic, station design, civil/site grading, and transit signal priority systems
Support multidisciplinary teams through all project phases—from conceptual design through construction
Ensure compliance with FTA guidelines, local agency standards, and applicable codes
Coordinate with transit agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Mentor entry engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence

Required

BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
Experience with transit infrastructure design, including LRT, BRT, and commuter rail
Familiarity with transit agencies and regional transportation priorities
Experience in engineering project delivery, including design and construction phases
Strong understanding of engineering standards, permitting, and regulatory processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
