Nexton is a recruiting services company seeking a Finance & Accounting Junior Analyst. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in maintaining financial control and supporting accurate accounting while assisting with day-to-day operations and learning compliance and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, preparing and processing basic journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data input

Support the team with preparatory tasks for the month-end and year-end close process, including running reports and performing basic reconciliations

Help with processing invoices, organizing documentation for collections and payments, and managing basic vendor correspondence

Learn and adhere to internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance

Assist in monitoring and documenting company expenses, ensuring proper classification and adherence to policy

Begin to learn and apply local and international accounting standards and tax regulations (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, VAT) under supervision

Organize and prepare basic documentation to support internal and external audits

Assist in documenting current accounting workflows and systems

Support the team in utilizing our accounting systems and tools (data entry, basic reporting)

Provide basic reports and analyses as requested to support the finance team's decision-making
