They are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician specializing in Nephrology to provide expert virtual consultation, diagnosis, and management of chronic kidney disease and related disorders in a 100% remote role.

Responsibilities

Conduct confidential virtual medical consultations (video call) focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and non-procedural management of a wide range of renal and electrolyte disorders, including: all stages of CKD, proteinuria, hematuria, acid-base imbalances, refractory hypertension, and pre-dialysis care

Perform accurate remote assessment and differential diagnosis of complex renal symptoms and systemic diseases affecting the kidneys

Develop and deliver evidence-based, specialty-specific treatment plans, including pharmacological management (e.g., bone mineral disorder treatment, anemia management, fluid/diuretic optimization) and appropriate dietary modifications, and issue electronic prescriptions following all regulatory guidelines

Review and interpret diagnostic studies such as comprehensive lab results (eGFR, creatinine, electrolytes), specialized urine studies, and renal imaging reports (ultrasound, CT) to guide virtual care

Coordinate care and execute timely, appropriate referrals for cases requiring in-person evaluation, renal biopsy, vascular access placement, or initiation of renal replacement therapy (dialysis)

Offer specialized preventive care advice related to delaying CKD progression, managing nephrotoxic medication risk, and optimizing kidney health in patients with diabetes and hypertension

Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential digital health records (EHR) in compliance with privacy and ethical standards

Perform wellness seminars and provide expertise on kidney health and complex fluid management topics for our members
