Semiconductor Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities
Review Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) technical specifications and design standards, and implement these during project execution
Provide technical direction on Micron's requirements to outside A&E firms during project concept and detailed design phases, collaborate with site groups, other engineering disciplines, local municipalities/utilities, trade contractors, and other project partners
Perform regular field inspections during construction and supervise the project to ensure that it is within the agreed scope, schedule and budget, and that the work is being performed in accordance with design concepts
Plan facilities change for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations
Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings
Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs
Inspect construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules
Develop criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes
May telecommute part-time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Or Related Field
3 Years Of Experience In The Job Offered Or In a Structural Engineering-related Occupation
Experience In Engineering principles, including statics, dynamics
Experience In Navigating local and international building codes
Experience In Designing municipal utility conveyance both overhead and underground
Experience In Navigating and working within design software programs, including Autodesk Civil 3D, Auto Cad, REVIT, and Navisworks
Experience In Technical writing and mechanical drafting
Experience In Project management
